BobCAD-CAM recognizes the type of operation (OD, ID, facing, grooving, threading) and automatically creates the appropriate cutting pattern. The user simply selects the geometry and the system generates the trajectories with optimal compensation, feed and depth.

Adaptive roughing strategies

​The system includes four machining modes that balance productivity

and surface finish:

• Standard

• Compensation

• Standard Zig-Zag

• Zig-Zag Compensation

These strategies apply controlled input/output parameters that

decrease tool load and optimize chip evacuation.

​Finishing strategies with contact control.

The BobCAD-CAM algorithm prevents movements against

the active cutting edge, extending the life of the insert by

up to 45%. In addition, it allows you to program tangential

or radial finishes for high-precision profiles.

​​Automatic Grooving

The system detects areas where roughing inserts cannot

access and proposes specific tools or alternative paths,

without the need to redraw geometry.

Automatic Profile Generator.

When working with complicated parts it can be

difficult to find the profile of the part to machine on

the lathe. With the introduction of Profile from

Revolution,this process will happen automatically. Simply

select the geometry & direction of rotation,
